Creative concept - Ayo & Teo - Rolex (Official Video)

Rolex is creative and unique to other videos because they started off being online dancers who just made a song for fun that went viral and after that the incorporated there dancing in the own song. The camera shot is a medium shot it shows their signature mask that they wear to dance and it is like a brand. In the video it has lots of people that are internet famous dancers and that is creative because you don’t see them dancing in music videos you see them dancing to music.

 Narrative- Eminem - Not Afraid

"Not Afraid" reflects the more positive mood of the album and finds Eminem rapping on how he has tried to overcome his personal troubles such as his battles with drug addiction. He goes on to admit to some artistic mistakes including dissing his previous album: "Let's be honest/ That last Relapse CD was ehh." Eminem finally declares that he wants to concentrate just on his family and music. Rosenberg commented to Billboard magazine, "It's an uplifting song. It's not a dark song, it's an uplifting song."

 

Visual effects- Lil Dicky - Professional Rapper (Feat. Snoop Dogg)

The animation in this video is amazing. The visuals make people laugh and make them want to watch it. Also the voice and the animated people are in sync and the song is relevant to the video.

 

Editing- Big Pippin' - Jay Z

Jay Z used editing for example Slow motion and reversing effects frequently in this music video as we can see a group of people dancing in slow motion and then reversing. There are fade transitions in this video to possibly connote good memories and flashback which is shown in the reverse shots. The editing also cuts the visuals to the music by doing a jump cut to a new scene whenever the whistle plays in the beat; this makes the visuals and music have synergy.  

Editing 'The Kill' 30 Seconds to Mars 

Throughout the song, each of the edits goes at exactly the same pace as the beat of the music which emphasises the music and the lyrics, for example, during the chorus, every shot changes with every syllable exaggerating each word as it is said. Furthermore, the cuts slow down whenever the music slows down and the shots become much longer; they also speed up as the music ets faster and louder. Moreover, there are parts of the video in which the music completely stops (2:05); this is when Jared Leto is bouncing a ball against a wall of the hotel and all you can hear is the echo and the load thud of the ball hitting the wall. Every time you hear a thud, the shot changes to something completely different inside the hotel which seems like it relates to his character's life in some way.

Waterloo Road is a British television drama series which has 10 series and 200 episodes.

The clip from Waterloo Road shows that high school in a surburban area. The uniform gives the impression that the teenagers are not behaving. This clip show us that Gabriella is going too be a bad and spoilt student as she doesn't follow her parents instructions. This suggest that the storyline is going to be based around her for this show as the first minute shows her entering the school (in style). In my opinion i think Gabriella is going to end up fighting the girlfriend of the boy she kissed at the beginning. The new character will make the storyline more interesting to the audience as she is bringing in more drama and that is what the viewers of Waterloo Road watch it for.

There are typical TV drama characters in Waterloo Road providing that there are average community school students who attend the high school. There are loads of stereotypes in Waterloo Road like the 'popular kids' who are very popular in the school sometimes occasionally they can also be bad students. There also also the kids who are smart and get bullied for being smart these are called nerds. There are also the students who go against the rules such as wearing there own clothes to school and not  which we can clearly see in the clip. Gabriella would be part of the rich, spoilt, stuck-up kids since we can clearly see by the episode that she is defiant towards her father. The clip introduces Gabriella as quite mischievous this may be the cause as her being brought it up into a rich family which she doesn't think is her and wants to be a normal student.

In Waterloo Road there are many visual codes that suggest iconography such as the uniform. From the episode, we can see that some students wear school uniform and some dont. From this we can see that  this school has some students who are well behaved and some that do not wear there uniform this would be not an orderly school. Immediately know that it is a high school drama Tv show as some of them are in their in uniform

Black people are represented as non equal and shown the lowest respect as their not white or their either slaves to the white people.No its not fair as all people no matter their colour or religion should all be treated the same with respect.

Black or white the women were represented the same as the black males with no respect and they was mainly used for sexual desires.

White non Americans are presented the same as the black males as Jangos's sidekick is not american and they try to kill him just like Jango.

White men are represented as superior and have complete power over the females and black males because in the whole movie the females and black males are either being hit or being killed.

• Is it as simple as saying black people are represented as good and white people as bad? Why?

Yes it is that simple because the white people knew what they was doing was wrong but they still continued to keep black people as slaves and torture them for so many hundreds of years.

Shot 1

This is a medium close up.The head and shoulders are visible showing their facial expressions. You can see the man's facial expression, allowing the audience to understand what is going on in the film.

This is a wide/ establishing shot because you can see were his location as you can spot the buildings around him. 

Shot 3

This shot was created with another medium close up which concentrated on John's face and the guard's face. There was also a eye line match which makes it look like they were having a conversation.
